A few months ago two friends from work and I decided we should spend a weekend winter camping. We set a date for this weekend knowing full well that this was statistically the coldest weekend of the entire year.
This event has been a source for many a joke as the date approaches. Now that it's here I'm not quite feeling the humor. It's not that I've had a death wish or wanted for some life threatening adventure. I have always held a firm stance against bodily harm. Recently it seems that my resolve to not die has been strengthened. This just doesn't sound like a good idea as the forecast rolls in. What was I thinking? How do I get out of this?
